IN THE FLYING ZONE WITH IVAN KRISTOFF
From august 2007, Eiger Rope Access Work Inc. has become the Official Supplier of the Bulgarian volunteer “Special Operations Services” – (S.O.S.) team. This non-profit organization initiated a series of test with innovative technology and mobile computing in the air. The founder of the SOS team, Ivan Kristoff chose the IT equipment of Eiger Rope Access Work Inc. for this project.
A project for aerial video monitoring was developed by Ivan Kristoff and experts in mobile computing and IT communications. Over a one year period they have worked together, along with Stefan Kaimakanov and Ivan Zaechki, from Solytron Ltd, the official dealer for HP products in Bulgaria. The technical support from Stefan Kaimakanov and the top IT experts from the insurance and banking business - Ivo Lubenov and Kiril Kirilov assisted Ivan in the search of the most advanced and effective mobile computing equipment and wireless video broadcast technology (including IP cameras). These information systems, which include the IT equipment of Eiger Rope Access Work Inc., could be used in remote areas and critical situations, during crisis situations. Part of these components Ivan tested in the heart of the Sahara desert, and he was pleased with the results.
Reporter Aliosha Shalamanov: A volunteer organization, founded by Ivan Kristoff, is working on a pilot project for aerial video monitoring from a helicopter. If the City of Sofia Municipality is happy with the results, it is possible in the near future to have a an aerial emergency response provided by helicopter, which will assist the capital of Bulgaria in crisis situations.Ivan Kristoff, aka Spiderman, has initiated and committed to the development of this project. The wireless video monitoring from the air, will provide online contact between the emergency services and rescue teams. The helicopter will be equipped with remote camera control photo and video equipment. The visual materials can be used to train rescue teams in an innovative training program, called trailblazing. Ivan Kristoff: In my case, it is a specialized training for my volunteer rescue organization, in which members of our teams will be introduced to visual presentations of situations where they have no experience, but they have to be trained to work in such conditions. They will learn in innovative way how to deal with crisis situations in rescue missions. Въздушно видеонаблюдение и фото мониторинг от хеликоптер, осъщесвено от Иван Кристоф Човекът паяк, както е известен по света Иван Кристоф, се е ангажирал с разработването на проекта. Въздушното видеонаблюдение ще осигури постоянен он-лайн контакт на отговорните институции със спасителните екипи. На хеликоптера ще се монтират камери свързани с Интернет. Кадрите от въздушното видеонаблюдение могат да се използват и за обучение на спасителни екипи по метода трейлблейзинг (trailblazing). Въздушното видеонаблюдение не е скъпо, но липсва политическа воля за въвеждането му в страната, смята Кристоф. Затова той ще представи резултатите от въздушното наблюдението над София на Столична Община.
Шеста международна специализирана изложба “Защита и сигурност” с участие на технологията на Eiger Rope Access Work Inc. 11.09.2008 - 13.09.2008, София От 11 до 13 септември 2008 г. за шести пореден път под патронажа на Президента на Република България Георги Първанов в Интер Експо и Конгресен Център - София, се проведе международната конференция “Сигурността в Югоизточна Европа. Публично-частно партньорство и критична инфраструктура” (11 и 12 септември) и международната специализирана изложба “Защита и сигурност”. На нея Иван Кристоф, фен на технологията на ACER За първи път в историята на това изложение, бе поканена да участва със собствен щан неправителствена организация - сдружение “Специализиран отряд за спасяване”. Дейността на отряда е “издирване и спасяване”. Сдружение ” Спец. Отряд за Спасяване” и около 100 изложители и подизложители от България, Великобритания, Русия, Франция, Швеция, САЩ и др. се представиха в тазгодишното издание на международната специализирана изложба “Защита и сигурност”. Спец. отряда представи иновативни системи за сигурност, видеонаблюдение и контрол на достъпа, комуникационни мрежи, и мобилните си компютри.
Вицепремиерът и министър на извънредните ситуации Емел Етем се срещна по време на изложението с представители на доброволните спасителни дружества. Според нея организации, като Сдружение „Специализиран отряд за спасяване“, досега незаслужено са били пренебрегвани от държавните институции. Министър Етем с нескрит интерес разгледа експозицията на специализирания отряд за спасяване, която бе представена от човека паяк Иван Кристоф. „Надявам се в бъдеще все по-често да работим с вашите екипи“, коментира тя при срещата с него.
This exhibition shows the special training sessions and technical demonstrations of emergency procedures on the inaccessible area of some of the tallest buildings in the world. One of these images show a range of picture that have captured the triumphal moments of the peak performance of the photographer’s dream to work on the world’s most dangerous rope access work projects. The element of excitement is portrayed in a few pictures when Ivan Kristoff, an aerial photographer who is based in Toronto, finds the solution for the safest and most efficient operations for this projects. They are in contrast to the images of his work during the sudden weather change, cold temperatures and harsh conditions towards the end of project.
